Southeastern Illinois College Volleyball is excited to announce the signing of Matti Walker-Kasnick, an outside hitter/right-side from Herrin High School, as part of the Falcons’ 2025 recruiting class.
Walker-Kasnick brings versatility and strength to the SIC lineup, with the ability to play both the outside and right-side hitter positions, as well as contributing as a full-rotation player.
“Matti is a great addition to the SIC volleyball team, adding the flexibility to play either side in the front row and a full rotation,” said SIC Head Coach Jon Watts. “She had a very successful senior year at Herrin and continues her success in the club season.”
Walker-Kasnick was a key player for the Herrin Tigers, showcasing her ability to impact the game both offensively and defensively. As she transitions to the collegiate level, she will bring a strong work ethic, powerful attacking skills, and all-around court presence to the Falcons.
SIC Volleyball continues to build a competitive roster for the upcoming season, and Walker-Kasnick’s signing adds another dynamic player to the program.
